Titanium

Titanium

Titanium is a metal which is stronger than steel in terms of strength and durability, light enough to be compared with aluminum in terms of weight, has the highest corrosion resistance among all known metals and is resistant to almost all chemical reactions.

According to tungsten carbide the abrasion resistance is high but the succinctness is low. Titanium carbide, which uses nickel-molybdenum alloy as binder, is used at higher cutting speeds, especially for machining of steel and cast iron.
